My friend and I got in to Melbourne pretty late and by the time we made our way around town to find a place to eat, just about all of the restaurants were closed - or if they weren't closed, they were not serving food! Thankfully we walked past Little Hop. We had some amazing tacos and local brews along with some great conversation with the fun and friendly staff. Just what we needed after a long day of traveling. We'll be stopping back by on our next trip to Melbourne :)
We came here on a whim as taco lovers with no idea about the place. The 4 of us were blown away with the food, friendly service and vibe. The fish tacos are off the charts and it warranted a visit the following day for a follow up. Pleased to say that the second time was a charm (the day after..we couldn't stay away for long). Do yourself the favour and say hi to Hugo and the boys.
Was walking around Fitzroy at night and was so hungry. Saw the tacos sign and it was like a beacon in the night. I'm so glad we stopped in. The tacos were pretty large and incredibly delicious. Also got a pitcher of margaritas. It was the perfect ending to the night. The waiter was playing some awesome music. We had a great time.
Popped in for a quick bite before a jazz gig nearby. Friendly folks, great vibe, cool music and great food. I tried their standard chicken, beef and pork tacos and could not tell which one I enjoyed the most. The New Zealand IPA went down just as well with the food. I suspect I'll be back one day. So we drop in to a cute little bar next to Naked for Satan for a beerTwo pints of... What's on tap? Wired?Ok two pints of that...Is $28....! For real?So it must be micro brewed.Be warned... It tastes of lychees!!!Not beer.So, great if you want exotic fruity fizzy drink. Not so good for beer....
At first, I felt bad and uncomfortable cause everything was so dirty. Table, dishes, cutlery. Even I could see something was floating in the water they gave us. BUT, their tacos were so DELICIOUS! Definitely I want to visit and taste again.
This little place looks like not much from out front but the service & the food are awesome. Friendly chatty staff. Great choice of brews. The tacos are sensational, I was in heaven absolutely delicious. We visited twice in 2 days!
