Little Istanbul... for me, is a place to go get some take away, but not really sit down. The atmosphere appears to look good at first, but lacks the friendly atmosphere that a restaurant should have. Perhaps a bit more smiles and interaction wouldn't go astray? Anyway, the food is decent priced and the portions are well worth it. Especially the pides... However the taste isn't really packing a punch as such. It feels very bland...kind of like a cheap delivery pizza with loads of topping that doesn't have a voice when it comes to the flavour. It's not bad, just it appears at first to be better than getting labeled as a fast food chain style bland taste. I would like to try more on the menu an...
Great restaurant. Great family run atmosphere. They serve quality, flavoursome food from the Turkish and Arab region. The kebabs are succulent and tasty. All dishes are generous serves. The apple tea is recommended.... (don't worry, you can take it home if you're not a big eater). We've had a few special birthdays here and, because it's BYO, we brought some very expensive wines without being ripped off with corkage or overpriced, mediocre wines at licenced restaurants. The best Turkish food I've ever had. Highly recommend for a relaxed night out.
My wife and I had lunch at this place. We ordered a banquet for two and totally loved every bite and all that they served us. We ended up taking half of the meal home and again enjoyed our meal for the second time at home. We WILL be back and in a word AMAZING meal, the best meal we had since leaving Melbourne.
Little Istanbul is a really nice restaurant in Tuggeranong, you can order individually or banquet style dining here. The food portions are generous and the food is always tasty. The tables are well spaced out and the service is good also.

I have been to the restaurant for lunch and everyone has enjoyed the terrific choices available and the most friendly serving people. Great place to pick up a simple meal or enjoy a banquet with friends.
first time i have eaten at a Turkish restaurant and was very pleased with my meal the place had almost every seat filled and the waiter was patient as i didn't know the food and he helped me order
The service was a bit slow but when you get their attention, it is great. The dips as a starter was quite filling for the 4 of us and the grilled lamb was superb!
Wow the smells matched the flavours of the amazing food. BYO if your a drinker otherwise its complimentary water. Great selection of food cooked to perfection
