This place rocked! We both got the special bento for $32 pp tax/tip) and got a surprisingly delicious combination of various Japanese classics. I found everything was above the mark for expectation. The teriyaki beef was particularly impressive, as it was tender and cooked medium rare something I've never seen before at this pricepoint or even close to it. The sushi was solid, particularly the white fish, and the tempura was also tasty. Not only was the food great, but I swear it all was served in ~5 min from ordering. I don't know how they do it, but they're on fire!
I ordered food from this restaurant on September 25 at 5:15 PM, and I've been feeling ill ever since. I strongly advise anyone considering ordering from this place to think twice. I've been trying to report my experience, but they aren't answering my calls. Please avoid Lil Matt Fish in Redwood City, Sequoia Station. I've been extremely unwell and have been unable to stop vomiting. I might need to go to the hospital. It's very unprofessional that no one from the restaurant is responding to my calls about this issue.
I dined at this restaurant without any prior knowledge of it, and unfortunately, it was a bit disappointing. The food was just average, and the overall experience didn’t stand out. I won’t be returning. On a positive note, it's conveniently located near Barnes & Noble and Safeway, but parking can be a challenge.
First Time Here. Extremely Rude Not Helpful. Ordered A Lunch Bento Box Which Should Be $16.95 And The Rude Guy At The Register Charged Me $25 And Didn’t Offer Me The Lunch Price Because I’m New. Feel Like I Was Brushed Off As Stupid. Not Ever Coming Back Again!

This restaurant is fantastic! The food is delicious, and the service is excellent. I truly appreciate the friendly and welcoming staff. I ordered the cucumber roll and the crunchy rolls, and they were both outstanding.

We usually order through DoorDash but now we are going back to dine-in, love the food here! The manager (person in changed maybe) took care of us! Great service!
