Soup was extremely bitter and when we asked to exchange the soup the owner said they can’t do anything if its just personal preference for taste. So we can’t get a different soup? We literally had two sips of it too not like we finished half the soup and asked to exchange. When we sent it back they still charged us for it because of “personal preference.” Their bowls are also very mediocre, just filled with noodles and lettuce and not much of anything else. Prices here are also insane as two items cost about $45 which is ridiculous. I understand costs have gone up since COVID hit and I don't even mind paying extra if its worth it, but the food here is just not worth what you pay. Ultimately...
We ordered takeout from this restaurant and we won't be returning! It's disappointing because we used to enjoy eating here a few years ago, and the food was delicious. We were shocked by how bad it was this time! For $17, we received a small portion along with two tiny pieces of dry, flavorless bread. I wouldn't recommend this place! To make matters worse, the lemongrass soup had no lemon in it at all. It felt like a complete waste of money.
I've been here many times and am a regular diner, but today was disappointing. I was asked to leave because there was no waitress, only a cook. I understand that sometimes staffing issues arise, but if the cook can't handle the workload without a server, that's a problem. I could've easily told the server what I wanted, but it just wasn't a great experience today. Overall, I left feeling quite unimpressed.
we ordered out of here and will never eat here again! that's sad because we've been eating here a few years ago and it was delicious! We went there to celebrate my daughters first (and we hope only ? , abortion. Ordered 6 meals and only 2 of them went through apparently, extremely dissatisfied with the service. Unacceptable at such a hard time for our family. also the chef in the back was extremely rude and avoided any eye contact.
Asked to put in an order for a salad roll they said they didn’t have that here. Then asked for pho, they said they didn’t have pho…One guy came in to swap his order since they gave him the wrong order. Then another guy got denied for ordering take out. Shortly after they shut their doors early. LOL
If this was my first introduction to Pho I would be wondering what the fuss is all about !The chicken I had in my soup was dry , yip that's right dry even after sitting in the hot broth for a while !My gf had the Tom's special and didn't finish it either she was definitely not impressed.
This restaurant offers fantastic food and excellent service. Everything is beautifully presented. I especially enjoyed the web mi sandwiches, salad rolls, grilled pigeon, chicken curry stew, and pho! If you're hesitant about trying Vietnamese cuisine, don't worry—you'll love it!
Dining room is nice. The soup...it's not Vietnamese pho flavor? There was too much five spice or some sort of other flavour in it...nutmeg? Anyways, it's not the usual flavor and gave me nausea afterwards. Good luck.
