I have been wanting to try this place for a while reviews seemed good but finally went with a friend other day and was very disappointed overall. Tuna tataki has been my favorite go to at sushi restaurants for 20 years but have to say this was theworst I’ve ever had , the color and presentation was off and had a fishy taste and smell, didn’t seem fresh. The sushi rollswe got I don’t even remember the name but rice was warm and roll fell apart after dipping in soy sauce, was ok but nothingmemorable to return for. The cooked spinach salad was very good tho. The waiter was also a bit awkward and over complicatedordering. I asked for a cold green tea and they asked if I want green or jasmine… us...
My family ordered other food. I ordered a Bento box, dine in. In this Bento menu is a small portion that you can choose avocado rolls. I was disappointed to see the avocado rolls are as size of my pinky finger tip. Not your regular size rolls. Never seen that before. The teriyaki salmon was very very thin sliced. Paid $22. for the bento meal. I rate this a 4 because the location is great, parking anywhere, customer service was good and the bathroom is clean. Be aware if you are elderly or disabled that you need to watch carefully where you step because many different hurdles angle of stairs steps to watch out for or else you might fall or trip. The food are tasty here its worth a try.
After picking up my auntie at the airport she was hungry so, my son searched for a sushi place, this sushi bar had very good reviews and it didn't disappointed. We tried several rolls and we liked them, the service was excellent. Would definitely come back on another visit to Sn. Fco.
Great atmosphere, really nice drinks but pretty mediocre sushi for the bay. It didn't taste too fresh, and very little to no garnish. It was worth it just to try the drinks. Just some higher quality fish and more creative flavoring is standing in the way of this being a great spot.

The unwelcoming attitude of the waitstaff really leaves much to be desired. The fish is fresh, the sashimi plates are reasonably priced, and the bentos are very average. I'm seeing the same experience from other non-5-star reviews. Disappointing.
Live Sushi is outstanding! The fish is incredibly fresh and the sushi is skillfully prepared. The staff are exceptionally friendly and offer excellent service. This has become our favorite sushi place without a doubt. Highly recommend!
The food was amazing! I am vegetarian and don’t eat fish so they didn’t have a ton of options on the menu for me but the waiter was very patient and helped me. Their Sushi was amazing and fresh, and so was the seaweed salad.
Sushi are delicious! The taste is so simple and sophisticated simultaneously, everything is super fresh. I came with kids, and staff were so attentive and kind to us. Definitely will come again!

The sushi was fresh and tasty! The drink selection was enjoyable, though the service could have been better. The atmosphere felt somewhat dull, but overall, I had a pleasant experience.
Got seated right at opening, food came out fast and fish is very fresh. Honestly has become one of my top 3 sushi spots in SF.
