this restaurant is not in the middle of nowhere. service was painfully slow. we did not get our first cocktail for minutes (and also no water). when we finally got our champagne, it was room temperature (and so was another customer). we had to ask. twice after water. we went into this restaurant for the cooked foie grass and it was so delicious. it had a dried/reconstituted cherry sauce. the food was shed beautifully. my calf was cold (but quite tasty) and the duck breast of my man was tricky. we had the pair of weeping and enjoyed it. we skipped the cheese plate and the wine cellars because we've been there for hours and slept. as an addition to seeing the restaurant for one hour while wait...
Nous avons suivi les avis tripadvisor...et nous avons été ravis. Effectivement ce restaurant est perché en haut d une colline. On n'y arrive pas par hasard.Tous les mets ont été délicieux. A recommander : saint Jacques au foie gras poêlé persillé à la truffe ! L accueil est très bon. Un vrai bon moment.Et comme dirait quelqu'un de ma famille lorsque nous montions la colline sur des chemins improbables : " ce mec là doit avoir vachement confiance en sa cuisine pour aller s'installer là-haut !". Il avait raison.
Oui car il faut y parvenir et c'est pas forcement facile. Mais quand on y est, là tout n'est que tranquillité et dégustation. Dés l'accueil on est dans l'ambiance sympathique de toute la soirée et les plats ne font qu'amplifier le bien être qu'ils procurent. MERCI au CHEF et au personnel pour cette délicieuse soirée. De passage à Sarlat nous ne manquerons pas de passer par Lo Gorissado.
Niché dans la campagne sarladaise, le Chef Thierry Bardet saura ravir vos papilles avec des combinaisons gustatives surprenantes mais toujours très justes. Il revisite la cuisine traditionnelle en sublimant les ingrédients (notamment les excellents légumes du jardin et autres herbes) et bien sûr les incontournables régionaux de l'étape : foie gras et truffe. We have traveled the Dordogne and Burgundy this fall and would declare our meal at Lo Gorrisado the best dining experience of our trip.
