We stopped at the locanda randomLy, we wanted to go to a nearby grotto and noticed this locanda on the road, for some reason i thought it would serve good food. Man was I right..... We had gnocchis (handmade of course, very fluffy and tasty) and meat with artichokes, spectacular. There were different types of bread, all quite good, that waserhs the drawback, our 3 years old filled himself up with the great bread and was full by the time we started eating! The service was excellent with both a very nice waiter and a kind owner. We chatted a bit after lunch, very nice chaps. One could also sleep here, we will keep it in mind for our next visit to the area. We will definitely go back to eat her...
I've been a customer of etnic for many years when I visit lugano, but the new location in a restored old Swiss villa is amazing! eating is always delicious and I love the fact that my guests can have everything from amazing mexican...food to the best sushi in lugano, a Californian salad or an Indian masala. the large terrace with olive trees is so quiet and peaceful and the perfect place to decompress with a lemon margarita and a good meal. Don't miss it!
schöne Umgebung .. freundliches Personal. große Auswahl an japanischen, asiatischen und mexikanischen Speisen. Sushi war gut. Die Weinkarte täuscht ein wenig und täuscht auch darüber hinweg, dass es keine anständige Auswahl an Sake gibt (nur ein sehr einfaches, einfaches Basic, das in kleinen Karaffen serviert wird). alles. In allem ganz gut, aber in meinem Sinne deutlich überteuert.
The "Conventino" is a completely new styled restaurant, whit a very nice outside place, where its fine to chill in the Lounge, or have dinner under the modern umbrellas, who change continousely the colors of the lights. eine Lieferung nach Hause bestellen. Erst knapp 2 Stunden nach der Bestellung wurde die Lieferung bestätigt. Das ganze Essen kam also natürlich kalt. Die Pad-Thai-Nudeln hingen alle zusammen. Cheeseburgerbrot war steinig. Pommes waren kalt und hart. Miso-Suppe war kalt und salzig. Ich werde dieses Restaurant nie wieder besuchen.
as a regular guest, I always try their special dishes of the day, or of the season. The Neapolitanian cook is very keen to make the best out of tipical Italian products. The choice of good wines is also appreciated. The service is very nice and with the owner always present and helpfully advising.
Delicious food, self made ingredients, high quality preparation, friendly service, endless wine list. Very nice dolce! All in all a strong recommendation! Just be prepared the quality has a price but is is worth. We will go again.
