The display cases when you walk in are the first thing you see and the desserts are out of this world. Their bakers are true artists and have yet to find another baker in Sydney even come close to those at Locantro. I LOVE my coffee and am especially fond of the African bean variety and these Italian Aussie owners only use my favourite, Campos Coffee. Make sure you have Sandra make you a cuppa....the best barista in Sydney. They run a top-shelf business and I have no problem waiting a bit knowing what I am about to indulge in at this very busy cafe.
Sandra makes a delicious creamy coffee without fail as if yours is the only one. Deliciously fresh cooked gluten and grain free fritattas every morning with oven roasted veggies or bacon and goats cheese. Lots of freshly homemade savoury and sweet treats here.
Had an open smoked salmon sandwich, and hot chocolate. Excellent value, and understanding of the mess my one year old grandson made and would'nt let us clean it up. Great for young family's to go. Really impressed. Will definitely visit again.
Purchased a chicken mushroom filo pastry - heated in my oven for lunch - maybe 1 mushroom cut into four - lots of chicken - top of pastry browned, bottom soggy and the filo inside inedible - very disappointed

Family-run coffee and light meals. Home-made savoury delicious are a feature. No Wifi. Near the bank; opposite HHH hotel; parking around the corner, or under the hotel opposite.
A great little cafe. Friendly vibrant atmosphere. Plenty of choice for a meal and a great range of drinks on offer. Excellent breakfast that was reasonably priced.
