The food here is amazing. It seems strange to order a burger and fries at an upscale restraunt. It seems more strange to split it with someone. It seems even more strange to pay 10 dollars to split it with someone, but it was worth it. Get the 'Lola Burger '! The menu is a little pricy. The service is usually good. Call ahead! We were turned away once. The place seemed pretty empty but they said most of the tables were reserved. They offered us the bar, which is actually pretty decent, but we really wanted a table. This place also has very odd hours, so make sure they are open and have tables available before you go. They do take reservations! Their deserts are out of this world. Ask for the...
This could be a very long review because I like so many items on the menu....Best burger I have ever eaten. Oysters cooked to perfection with interesting sauces. Pork belly crispy and yummy. Wine list is very good. Truffle fries are out of this world. Always something outstanding on the small plates menu on Thursday. Red beans and andouille for lunch this past Monday made my mouth tingle. And last, but certainly not least, are the desserts. Every single dessert is scrumptious. One night a group of us ordered every one so we had a bite of each.
Literally, hands down, the Northshore's best restaurant. Whether enjoying one of their incredible daily lunch specials (which I enjoy every weekday), or sampling a hand crafted soups, sandwich, or salad, this place never disappoints. If you're fortunate enough to be around the area from 5-630 Thursday-Saturday, pop in for their Happy Hour, great mixed cocktails and unique tapas to delight any palate. Dinner is second to none! You'll be delighted again and again. The place is incredible!!!
I've been here many times and the service has always been outstanding. I truly have not had one bad meal for lunch or dinner. My wife and I will sometimes go and just order a bunch of appetizers because they are all incredible. The food is extremely fresh and Keith puts some serious thought into making everything fit together. The cocktails they make are out of this world as well. I highly recommend this place! Without question the best restaurant on the Northshore.
