When we went the restaurant had a set menu as well as a la carte. The set menu of 3 courses (though you could choose starter and main or main and pudding too). Prices are reasonable and the dishes are well presented. Maybe I'm biased because the choice that day happened to be exactly to my taste, but this was one of the most enjoyable meals I've had in a restaurant. Definitely best enjoyed when it's good weather and you can sit outside.
This cafe restaurant has come on in leaps and bounds and caters for all tastes including a mean vegetarian plateau which is really lovely and varied. Gorgeous terrace for the warm summer months and a warm welcome from the girls running the place. Sunday lunchtime offers music and entertainment as well as a pleasant place to sit and drink an aperitive.
Just arrived to stay for a week in Catllar, no food, so went to L'Olivier restaurant late and received greats service. A 3-course dinner for 17 Euro pp plus our wine (had to have some local wine) with friendly staff was amazing given I don't speak French, but my wife has some learning. Each course was great. Paid by credit card. Will be going back.
Although a single person operation, the food was great. Its not fast food but cooked to order. The choice is good. The restaurant is small and only holds about 20people from what we saw. Never been before but it was recommended and we will go again.
