Nice little restaurant/bar over looking Colwell Bay. Your English favourites are served here; burger, fish, sausage, chips, jacket and ploughmans. Visited a couple if times for food or drinks at sunset, never had trouble getting a seat, but I suspect that might have been owing to the poor weather. Having said that, if it's a nice day, there is plenty of outdoor seating. Service is fast, portions are good, staff are friendly. Nothing fancy about it, so very family friendly. I recently had dinner at this restaurant and had a wonderful experience. The food was absolutely delightful, earning a solid 5 out of 5. Each dish was flavorful and well-prepared. The service was also impressive, with attentive staff that made our evening enjoyable, scoring a respectable 4 out of 5. The atmosphere was inviting and warm, contributing to a pleasant dining experience, also rated 4 out of 5. Overall, we spent between £10 and £20 per person, which felt very reasonable given the quality of the meal. I highly recommend this place for a nice dinner out!
It's definitely the place to go to watch beautiful sunsets across Colwell Bay. For want of a better description, I'd say this is a family restaurant. The food is basic fare, but well cooked and not greasy. The restaurant is quite small but comfortable. There is outdoor seating, ideal for watching the sunset. There are ramps to access the restaurant, which are quite steep. Otherwise, I'd say it is wheelchair accessible. Dogs are welcome. A carpark is just across the road and there is some street parking.
Food was decently priced and was probably the best food I’ve had in the Isle Of White since I’ve been here. The chips were absolutely amazing though and highly recommend you go there just for the chips alone!
