We don't normally go to RSL's but our relentless search for gluten free options saw us stubble upon this little beauty. The recent renovations have created a classy modern feel and great atmosphere which is welcoming to couples and families alike. The range of food options and the quality of the kitchen is outstanding. Finding GF foods prepared properly with no cross contamination is a mean feat, but this place get it. The kitchen is not only clean and very professional, but most importantly producing some really nice modern bistro style fair with heaps of GF options at reasonable prices. This was our first visit to the Longbeach RSL and it certainly won't be our last. They are renovating at the moment so it's not particularly pretty but it will be fabulous when it's finished. We were so pleasantly surprised by how great the food was at such reasonable prices. The menu made it hard to decide what to have so we will have to return to try all the other things. We booked as it can get busy and they do cater for functions and large groups. You order your food and drinks at the bar as you would in a pub and the staff were absolutely lovely, very friendly and accommodating. We'll be returning soon.
I was most impressed with this RSL The staff were outstanding as was the food i think this was one of the first times i was unable to finish my meal due to the size of the serving The Chicken Parmigiana while not what you call cheap but the size made up for all of that and cooked to perfection nice salad and hot chips Good menu to choose from also a seniors menu as well which also was good value I would go back here again with doubt
Love the staff, the food and the atmosphere here. But there have been recent renovations. The decor now is absolutely terrible. Perhaps there is some psychological reason to encourage gambling that results in clashing decor as seen in other venues. But it's just terrible - carpets, wallpapers- too many finishes. Even the toilets are questionable. Guys- get your money back- you were ripped off by a designer!

Nothing compares with the standard of staff at Longbeach. Always polite, friendly and helpful. Meals are great too! Facilities are clean and well maintained. Going through renovations but still worth a visit!
The staff the Longbeach RSL are exceptional. Service is second to none. Even though renovations are happening it's still worth a visit as we always enjoy our meals. Great job guys!!
Meals are just basic nothing special. Theme nights are good value but otherwise a bit expensive for what you get. Service staff are pushed as they multi task.
We used to eat here regularly and found it to be much better than some other RSL's You wont go wring here. The food is good and the staff friendly

Love heading down here for a mid week dinner. The staff are lovely, the food great quality and tasty and very reasonably priced.
The Bistro has been closed for reno's. The food is good and the service with a smile. Easy to book and the food is well priced
