We did a search of the best steak house downriver which lead us to The LongHorn Steakhouse in Allen Park we placed a carry out order and spent $110 for 3 meals we ordered 2 steak well done and ribs we drove 20 min to get there we waited and went and parked when we got a text saying our food was ready we sat in the pick up spot and waited another 20 min and called and said we were told 20 min ago are food was ready the guy said yeah we are just bagging it up now we finally received are food checked the bag and made sure everything was there we drove home to have a nice New Years Eve meal to only find out the steaks were rare and not well done at this point we were done we could have called an...
The waiter was not wearing a mask and kept switching his behind all over the place, talking all dramatic!I was not very pleased with my drink, it taste like fruit punch. Todd (the district manager or whatever he was) came to the table after he found out I was dissatisfied with the drink. He tried to explain there is not much alcohol in my drink. Of course I knew this but absolutely nothing was in this Sangria.Todd is not well trained customer service. Longhorn is always good for a standard 3-4 star review. One of our steaks was overcooked but that was the only error. Staff was pleasant, bar staff seemed overwhelmed. They would not clear a seat at the bar because they were understaffed we watched 5 members walk right past the plates. Imo, do a little extra to help your crew and get a two customer sale while we wait on a table... sounds like good business to me. Otherwise, our actual server was great, food was typical sans the mostly well done steak. That is why for this trip, it'll be a 3 star. Bar staff and manager should have been more efficient, added to a very long wait for service.
I had an absolutely phenomenal experience at this restaurant. Today, I went to celebrate my birthday with my family and we were taken care of exceptionally well. The food was delicious and the restaurant was clean and well-maintained. The manager came by our table three times to ensure everything was perfect, which made a huge difference in our dining experience. He even brought out a dessert for us to enjoy together. If you're looking for a great meal with excellent service from the moment you walk in the door, I highly recommend visiting this Longhorn location. You won't be disappointed. Can't beat the price of the Longhorn Old Fashioned. Spicy chicken bites are great and of course finish it off with a filet that melts like butter. I'm not a fan of the drizzle they put on it as it taste like a flavored oil. Just some good old salt and pepper works fine. The salads are perfect size and I typically have Brussel sprouts which are awesome or a potato both baked and sweet are always good choices here. The hot bread and butter was perfect bread was hot and butter was not too cold.
I came back with a group about a month later without a reservation and had to wait for an hour. Sunday evenings seem to have long wait times unless you have a reservation. I ordered the same dish as before, grilled chicken and strawberry salad without feta, but it came with feta again.
I've been here before. always good food and service, some of the workers were always there who tells me in the regular much about a place. it is really busy for the evening meal, but they have seats for them to raid inside and outside.

You know....I just like this chain restaurant. I know it's not cool to say but I just did. It's always been good. The drinks have always been poured strong and the food is pretty great.
