The food is amazing, the service not so much. I don’t think it was a staff issue, more so the manager. First when we got there, he didn’t see our reservation at first, a staff member came over and pointed it out to him. Later I noticed the same manager motion to our waiter and he quickly brought the bill to our table, we were still drinking cocktails and enjoying time with friends. No big deal at first, but the second we signed off on the check the manager came over and told us he needed our table. I ordered her smokey margarita (I think that is what is called) it has a jalapeño, but is not sharp. eating was tasty, especially the green Zilantro sauce with the plantains chips that they put in front of them! Service very slow. Our server was friendly and apologetic but clearly overloaded. Drink order incomplete. Empeñada appetizers were deep fried, slow to come but tasted good. We ordered the salmon to be cooked through. It was server mostly raw Uncooked salmon immediately sent back. They replaced with an apology and properly cooked version that tasted good. The grilled asparagus was very good. Lamp chops were cooked per order and tasted good. They apologized for the slow service and uncooked salmon by giving us dessert of the fried dough with ice cream on the side. We gave our stressed out server a really nice tip she gets an A+ for effort.
This was the first time we tried Longitud315 and loved it. We sampled several of the small plates, the Green Beans A La Paisa was our favorite and I normally don't like Green Beans! Venezuelan Carbonada was my pick for an Platos Fuertes it is a sort of stew made in a butternut squash. I added the chicken for a protein that complimented the dish. We tried the Xingu Black Beer from Brazil, it is very dark and has a great flavor (we each has 2). We'll definitely be back.
Server couldn’t wait for us to leave, even though we were easy and did order a lot of food and drinks. The plantain chips that were best part of this restaurant is no longer complimentary but comes at a high price that just makes this place feel less welcoming. The drinks lacked the flavor there was no guava flavor in the guava drink and food overall wasn’t how it was last year. Very disappointing.

Our service was horrible the server did not greet us for at least five minutes. she brought food out and then did not come back and check on us. The bussers did not take away empty plates or beer bottles but tried to take away active dishes. When the door opened cold air comes in (no second door).
