Long Play has long been one of my favourite bars. The food is consistently good and inventive, the wine selection is good (if a little pricey). Service is friendly and professional. It's a busy buzzy place and best to attend earlier in the night if you want to have a conversation.
I had never been to the Longplay before and was pleasantly surprised. A bit grungy from the front but inside is a funky, relaxed decor with attentive bar staff…. Not too busy and the crowd was very easy going.. food (gnocchi) was excellent.. had a lovely night…. Steve
We had a wonderful experience! The food was delicious, and the atmosphere along with the service was fantastic. The drinks were really tasty too. The jalapeño margarita was absolutely amazing! It was the perfect spot for our date night.

Longplay has impeccable interior design, played really interesting music and the drinks/food were perfect complements for this little gem in Fitzroy North.
This spacious boutique diner and bar comes highly recommended for an enjoyable evening out.
