I visited this restaurant a few months ago while working in El Monte. There are plenty of Mexican eateries in the area, and I eventually chose this one. They have a diverse menu, and I opted for the mole since I don’t get to enjoy it very often. The mole was average—nothing too impressive—but what truly elevated the meal was the homemade tortillas. You can instantly tell the difference between these and machine-made ones. They look and smell distinct, and most importantly, they taste fantastic. Store-bought tortillas often have a slightly sour smell, are thinner, and bear marks from the production line. Without those homemade tortillas, I would have rated this place three stars.
This restaurant was fantastic! The service was outstanding, the food was delicious, and the establishment was very clean. We received hand sanitizer before we were given the menus, and I noticed the server sanitizing other tables nearby. The portions were generous, and the salsas were delightful. The agua de jamaica was just right—not too sweet and not too bitter. I'll definitely be coming back, and I highly recommend this place.
I wanted to give this restaurant another chance. It has a casual vibe, and it's a Mexican place. However, the staff member who attended to us was quite arrogant and provided poor service. To make matters worse, we still had to pay and were given an attitude. It's honestly surprising that it’s so empty today, especially since it's Mother's Day, May 12.
I’m giving this a 5-star rating just so people notice! This place is awful! I got kicked out for simply looking at the waitress, and it was my first time there. We were waiting for service, and the waitress even complained about us having a baby with us (she's only 5 weeks old)!

This restaurant has quickly become one of our favorites. We love the food and the excellent customer service. The waiter is truly a nice guy; don't let his serious demeanor mislead you. He really knows how to take care of his customers. We'll definitely be returning.
I ordered a molcajete, but the meat was a little dry, the only thing I liked was the sauce and the corn tortillas, the chicken also seemed dry to me! Not one to go back to! Parking: I think there is enough parking.
Terrible service. The waiter, who apparently is the owner, treated us as if he were doing us a favor. Very despotic. I can't comment on the food because we didn't even get to order it.
