I distinctly remember having dined in this space before as it offered Korean bento boxes in a previous incarnation. The Oakland themed murals on the walls, in fact, looked really, really familiar, as if they were left over from the previous tenant. These days, this venue is called Los Kinjas and is apparently a new incarnation of a similarly named sushi shop that used to be directly across the street. Here, there's tons to choose from on the menu, whether nigiri, sashimi, sushi rolls galore, ramen, donburi, or even hot items like teriyaki, tonkatsu, and sesame chicken.
