This is such a hidden gem. The food is great, the service is fantastic, and the portion size is more than healthy. The owner was gracious and welcoming, and engaged us in a nice conversation. We took our order to go and were impressed right away with the fries, plantains, steak, eggs, and fajita. It may be slightly larger than a hole in the wall, but the spirit of serving great food at a fair price lives strong.
So I ordered fried trout from this restaurant today online and paid for it only to find out that this restaurant is closed?. Like why are you closed and yet Google say open and y'all took my 19 dollars from my card? Looking for a refund but I don't know how because I called their number several times and no one is picking it up. Lemme see what my bank can do about this. Just disappointed

Love this place! Excellent food for unavailable prices. I always tell my husband, the best restaurants are the hole-in-the-walls were all the money goes toward the food itself and not concerned about the ambiance.
The owner is incredibly kind and gave my daughter a complimentary pack of Oreos as we were leaving the restaurant! I also really enjoyed the beans and the crispy chicken skin. The food was very delicious.
