First, the positives this part will be quick. The terrace is lovely, so the surroundings are great. Went for a midweek lunch and chose the blackboard set menu. Asked for the starter to be served as a main course, as I don't eat meat and none of the main courses were suitable. I received a tuna salad as a main course, which literally consisted of 6 of the thinnest slices of tomato ever seen and 2 spoonfuls of canned tuna. It looked pretty enough but I was starving !! OK, I've reviewed this restaurant twice already and we go there because the food is the best in the area. This last time the choice was much more narrow than previous visits, and the service.....oh the service! The woman who seems to run or own the place seems to have joined the military! She was always a bit brusque, but this time she has embraced the no charm, shut up and give me the order brigade. One does not go out for expensive fine dining to be treated like someone in a police interrogation. NO charm, and of course the other staff follow the leader. We just enjoyed a wonderful lunch. One of us had the lunch menu of the day while the other 3 ordered from a « a la carte » menu. From the tapenade that was presented when we sat down to the entree, the main course and desert all were prepared and presented perfectly. The flavors were perfectly matched and inventive. The quality of the ingredients and the plating are top notch. Excellent value for portions served. In this hot August weather the ac was perfectly set. The inside dinning room has clean lines and lots of old stones. We looked out to the patio and we’re thankful they were serving inside.

Went here on the advise of our host Casa Dina. What an amazing meal. I had the fois grois to start followed by rabbit ballotine, the Roquefort was to die for then the nougat parfait to finish was the best. The wine indeed was perfect. We had the best evening and all at a cost of 100 euro for 2 very reasonable in my opinion.

We have been going every year ever since it opened. The menu now contains choices of second grade quality: from beef fillet down to rabbit for example. Service for drinks upon arrival was super slow. Quality of food and execution is still good though.
