Visited here one evening while spending the day in Avignon.The choice of restaurants in the town's main square is vast, and most appear very similar.However, Lou Mistrau with its beautiful outdoor space and its clearly displayed menu, stood out.My wife ordered main course spaghetti bolognese, which did arrive a little on the cold side, she sent it back for reheating but found it plentiful and flavoursome.I ordered Magret Canard, which was excellent. The duck was well cooked and accompanied by garlic potato cubes, vegetables and pepper sauce. Definitely the tastiest duck dish I have ever had.Fresh bread was supplied to "mop up" the sauces.We had ice cream for dessert which was rich and creamy...
Have dinner and the day after lunch out of season (early December) . Nice meal. Very good fries, which is rare. Good meat, stirring as requested. Good calf but very insufficient quantity: 3 small meat bites.... Very good andouillette. Don't miss the big rum baba, delicious and well imbibed. Nice and quick staff.
9:30. "We don't serve coffee at this hour, sir, it excites people." "no infusion either." facing our astonishment. "I'll let you think, sir." all well thought out, we've consumed next door.
I had lunch in this restaurant this noon with my wife and the dishes (of the day) were super good and well proportioned. I recommend this restaurant

Good spot in the square. Lots of outdoor seating, great for people watching. Great service, and loved our salads. Prices within expectations.
We ate here for lunch. we have enjoyed it! service slightly long for the dish. But I think it's all done home. I'll give it to you.
Great location, very mediocre food and sullen service. Not worth going there - especially in a city with so many superior eateries!
Are arrested for lunch before a small visit to the city. Quick service, very friendly staff, good kitchen. Have a good time.
