this little jewel is great! the chicken is super delicate and seasoned good enough to not need any of the series of hot sauces! rice is good and meal comes with an salate. sauces can become extremely hot, so they do not go over the first time. They recommend original and prickly pears, that was just enough heat and taste. the staff was very pleasant, the customers were constantly coming through the door and they were friendly with them all. great eating and I recommend you try.
the menu has only 4 elements, but that's okay. I tried belizean huhn (some) $11 (stand april 2022) and it was really good! it was a balanced entry; they get chicken, rice and fresh salad. sauces are interesting. I think they are listed on the menu from the least spicy to the spicist. I tried to bear crickels and absolutely loved it. it was creepy, but refreshing.
Belizean chicken is delicious. make sure you get the double! I was not a fan of how vinegary the two sauces I tried were. Would appreciate if they offered samples or gave a description of the sauces so you could understand the flavor profile before ordering.
first order of takeout, as I have heard great reviews from my hubby. ordered double chicken plate (big portions contain rice beans and salat) so excited to eat that I have forgotten to take a picture of it. the artwork in the resto is amazing.
