My mom and I have been enjoying meals at Luby’s for many years. I often take her there for dinner because, at 84, she has a limited diet. Luby’s wide variety of menu options makes it an ideal spot for us. Although the restaurant was busy, the staff promptly helped us find a vacant table. The food line was hot and well-stocked, and that day they had my mom’s favorites—tortilla soup and yams. The dining area was clean, and the servers were very polite. While the prices may be a bit high, they remain reasonable, making our visits feel special and something we look forward to. Our waiter was attentive and courteous, adding to a wonderful experience. Called in an order for lunch, was simple convenient order. My plate was ready and warm when I arrived. They have to go parking for quick in out access. Got liver and onions plate with 2 sides, broccoli cheese and the other was sweet potato. Thejalapeño bread roll has a good kick to it. Portions are ample for a hearty lunch, I personally save half for left overs.
I truly enjoyed the food at Luby’s; the menu offers a wide variety of delicious options. It was my first visit, and I got there early, so I waited for the restaurant to open—haha! Arriving early meant everything was spotless. Although I had to get up a few times to refill my drink, it didn’t bother me in the least.

You can't go wrong with this Lubys. They are in top of cleanliness. I accidentally dropped my mask and was heading back to pick it up and it was gone! Their food is amazing, fresh, warm. And they have a super friendly attentive staff!
.... Pharr location is the best loved it everything was so good brought my hubby for his 1st time and he loved it... the fried chicken my fav.. I went after 5 years... thanks for everything ill be back :
Love it come here every time we go to the basilica down the road for church this is my favorite after church lunch spot before going home to San Antonio
I always go there and get the same stuff chicken fried chicken with White gravy and mashed potatoes and gravy and stuffing and my sweetie

My food was delicious and the carrot cake we brought home was also very good.
