Let me tell you something. Long winded but shows the true care this family puts towards their business. I ordered via Uber for my family and I. We were happy to try something new and wait the 45 minutes for the food. 45 turned into quite a while. We contacted Uber. Now mind you they provided the service. I contacted them they told me to calm them directly as they did not provide updates for them. I spoke to the owners wife who let me know they were very busy that evening, but the food was on the way. Luigi's was a disappointing experience for me on Friday. They were running a Buy One Get One Free deal for select entrees, but when I tried to order online for delivery, the discount was not applied at checkout. After calling the restaurant for help, they assured me that the free meal would be automatically added to my order. Unfortunately, when the food finally arrived 45 minutes late, they had not included the free entree I had asked about earlier. I ordered a buy one get one free lasagna deal, and called to confirm that both lasagnas would be included. Unfortunately, my order only came with one lasagna instead of two. When I called to inquire about the missing lasagna, the same lady I had spoken to before said that it should have been included, but offered no solution to correct the mistake. I asked if there was any way to receive the second lasagna, as I had ordered for my office, but she refused, stating that the order had already been placed. This lack of customer service was disappointing, especially considering the underwhelming quality of the food after a long wait. I wish I could give this restaurant 0 stars.
I felt like having Italian food and they are open late. I was unsure of what to expect based on mixed reviews, but the service was good and the food was fantastic! I had the lobster ravioli in a cream sauce. When it arrived, I was surprised to see that it didn't come with pasta, but the ravioli were delicious and the sauce was amazing. I used extra garlic bread to soak up the sauce and was satisfied. The owner/chef came out to ask how everything was. The restaurant interior was dimly lit with what appeared to be Christmas lights hanging from the ceiling tiles. Despite the lack of a lunch menu, they provided a table lamp for us to view the options. The price for the chicken picata was $17.99, which was higher than what you would typically pay at a local pizzeria for dinner. The food was unimpressive and unappetizing, served on aluminum takeout trays even though we were dining in.
This is our favorite Italian restaurant in the area. I highly recommend their meatballs and pizzas. Beware when ordering appetizers though, their portions are very generous! They are great for a family but too much food for just 2 people. We havedined in and they had great service despite being very busy with take out orders. When ordering take out I love the convenienceof ordering online.
Luigi's clam linguini with white sauce is simply perfect. The pasta is cooked al dente, the clams are plentiful, and the sauce is heavenly. I wish I could bathe in it and have a mountain of their garlic cheese bread to go along. It's so delicious, that's all I can say. Thank you Luigi's for satisfying my hunger after a long day. Awesome spaghetti and tortellini plates. Pepperoni Pizza was also good and better than franchise places. Highly recommend trying this place.
