It’s official…Luigi’s is my go-to pizza place. I moved to the area a year ago, so naturally I’ve been exploring the pizza for my favorite restaurant. Today, I ordered for the second time and was just as happy as the first. The stuffed sausage broccoli rabe pizza is awesome… the rabe is buttery, garlicy, and and has just enough bitterness to bring out the flavor of the sausage. My other favorite is the meat lovers. A wide variety of meats on a tangy tomato sauce and crisp and chewy crust. Check out the pics… the pizza tastes as good as it looks. Luigi's Pizza Fresca is a gem in South Jersey. The inside is fully decked out with classic pizzeria décor wooden tables and chairs, walls full of pictures, and the stable checkered floor. The staff is super welcoming and friendly. I decided to go with the Margherita slice and the calzone slice. Both were incredible. The Margherita had a thin crispy base with an amazing crunch. The sauce and fresh mozzarella were excellent. The calzone slice also had delicious, juicy sauce and perfectly fluffy ricotta cheese. If I'm ever in the area, this is the spot I will be returning to!
Wow, it took 55 minutes to pick up a few sandwiches and there were 25 people waiting in line. My wife and I don't get to eat out often with our two little children, so it was a treat. I made sure to wait for it to be ready so that I could survive, but unfortunately my parmesan dry eclat luck was not great. Luckily, my brother gave me half of his decent cheese steak. My wife's chicken cheese steak tasted burnt and she refused to eat it. I tried a bite and it was tough, but at least the fries were good.
This restaurant was terrible. They promised our food in 30 minutes but we ended up waiting over 50 minutes. When we finally received our food, it was old and crusty. The chicken was dry and flavorless, and the chicken cheese steak was inedible. There was a strange taste and smell that we couldn't identify. The fries were low quality and disappointing. Some of the pizzas at this restaurant are fantastic, while others are just average. The Margarita pizza, Caesar salad pizza, and other specialty pizzas are unique and really good. If you prefer simpler pizzas, their sausage pizza is delicious. The buffalo chicken pizza can be a bit dry at times, but it's the only one I've had that issue with here. Additionally, the prices for individual pizzas are quite reasonable.
pizza was great! closest thing to north jersey pizza in the areahad the calzone slice, and their grandma thin sicilian slice. both had perfect sauce to cheese ratios , the flavors were all there. I even ate the crust, which I have not done at any other pizza place in the area. will be back for sure. G was helpful at the counter
Overall this pizza was okay, but not my favorite. The crust is good and the flavors are good, but the price is very high for the quality. The caprese pizza did not have very much mozzarella cheese on it, and the flavors were bland. Unfortunately the quality isn’t much better than some other chain pizza places.

I ordered a large pie with pepperoni and extra cheese. They showed up without the pepperoni and an insulated carrying case. Room temp pizza.
