Stopped by for dinner last night. It was a good experience! We started with a couple drinks, the orange/pineapple/coconut mocktail and a beer. The mocktail was a thick drink and very flavorful. The beer was very refreshing, both were finished. For starters, we ordered the mac and cheese and wagyu meatballs. They were delicious, I’d suggest ordering the mac and cheese without peas but aside from that they were both great! We got two lumen burgers with truffle fries which were mouthwateringly tender and tasty. The service was pretty good. Clare was attentive, she checked in on us. We loved our dinner here. And we really enjoyed the service. Brianna was a superb waitress. I appreciated that she has tried everything on the menu and was able to give helpful insight. She genuinely wanted us to enjoy our meal and experience. The pasta with salmon was delicious! I really enjoyed the flavors and the salmon was cooked perfectly. The burger was very flavorful with the softest bun. The calamari was just okay...I wouldn't order it again. Mac and cheese was great and the brownies were the perfect treat especially warmed up! I would absolutely come again and recommend to others.
Me and my husband went there for a late dinner during the week. He ordered the potato soup, burger and truffle fries. All three were really good!! I ordered the everything wings appetizer. It wasn't anything special so i wouldn't get it again. Four stars are for that and our bartender who was underwhelming. Seemed inattentive (we would have ordered another drink but she took too long to check in on us). I will say we arrived an hour before closing. Not that the experience should be any different but they were preparing to close so I want to be fair to them. I would go back.

Went on a Saturday night. Restaurant wasn’t too busy but service seemed a bit slow. Good for conversation I guess. Food was okay. The crab cakes and salmon dip were amazing. But the shrimp florentine was very very basic/bland. The steak and frites were the same, nothing outstanding. We were very impressed with the creme brûlée cheesecake. That’s actually something I would come back for alone. Saved the dinner lol.
Great location and service. The staff was very knowledgeable. Our server Sara was on point and made our time enjoyable. The wings were to die for and we were told they are cooked differently now. The fries and taco salad were great. Would come back! Must try in detroit.
Food was very bland. I had the crab cakes as an entree. The waiter said they were the best seller but I disagree. The presentation was everything but..... anyway, I also had the brownie ice cream . I would like to try this place again at some point.
The appetizers were so good, this feta spread with herbs was our fave! The drinks were also really good. And we enjoyed all of the nature light with our dining. Our server was very helpful and attentive.

The food and beverages were delicious! I've never had a lentil burger before, and the one at Lumen's did not disappoint. On my next visit I will be making a stop at Lumen Detroit!
Had a fantastic 50th private celebration with my family at this restaurant. The view of Detroit was beautiful and the atmosphere was nice and cozy. Definitely will be coming back!
