The lunch doctor used to be a staple for many of us that grew up in the area, unfortunately, the new ownership has changed that. The food is still good, though not as generous as it was previously, though prices are very high. The new owner does not honor the old stamp cards that so many of us have, meaning that no one is getting their promised free sandwiches. The new owner is rude, and the friendly atmosphere we used to love is gone. Unfortunately, I don't think I'll be returning. My husband, friends, and family have all been loyal longstanding customers for over ten years, but this new ownership has really changed it for the worse. I'm really disappointed that the new owner is such a Debb...
This is one of those little restaurants, privately owned, does not look like much from outside surprise. Range of lunch foods that are fresh, many healthy and always delish. If you like sausage rolls....theirs are really good. Nice soups and sandwhiches. Fresh and well done.My rating on special occasions below is that this is a get and go....not a place to sit and have lunch for atmosphere. You could order food for special occasions however.
We found this small sandwich place about 2 months ago and have been back several times. Happy staff great with customers. Every sandwich you could imagine and prepared right in front of you, multiple choices on toppings and breads. Reasonable prices compared to almost everything. Give it a try, you won't be disappointed. Very busy at lunch because it's so popular.
Discovered this sandwich shop after our local deli closed in Maple Ridge. Pitt Meadows is not too far away. Been there twice and they have fresh bread and buns, and a wide selection of sandwich makings. Love to watch and friendly staff.
Great sandwiches made to order. You pick the bread and toppings and they make it right in front of you. Staff in general is very nice, although the owner seems pretty crusty. All in all the food is great though!
Anyhoo - great sandwiches and soup, what more do you need. Food seems like it is made from scratch, which is rare now a days. Seems like staff are astro-turfing this review but whatever, they are good.
This place used to be fantastic until the new owners took over. Now the customer service is terrible and they are outright rude.

Can order by phone - very useful because they're very busy. Good food and very reasonable for lunch.
