So I had read this place was one of those 'trendy' places and unfortunately it was a Saturday morning when we visited so we lucky to get a table I guess - thing was we only settled on this place because I had read they do gluten free options and we'd already struck out on 2 other places in the square. By the time they took our order however we could've found a better place and if we'd known how long the food would take we certainly would have done. Our holiday is over but I'm still regretting wasting a morning on this place.I know it was busy but it's Saturday so that happens but the wait staff just floundered around, went on about being busy but moving slower than a wet weekend and were tho...
Mein Mann und ich klopften hier nach einem langen Spaziergang um den Batterieficht. Mein Mann hatte mehrere flache Weiße und sagte, es sei der beste Kaffee, den er bisher in Hobart gehabt hatte; Ich habe einen Topf Tee, der auch fabelhaft war. Das Essen war mündlich haarig und fabelhaft. Wir beide hatten Eiern mit Spinat und karamellisierten Zwiebeln, meinen mit glutenfreiem Brot. Das Hollandaise war cremiger und ziteicher Güte, und glutenfrei ist selten, in einer solchen leckeren cremigen Sauce zu finden. Ihre Müsli und Pfannkuchen sahen auch unglaublich aus. Wir werden zurückkommen.
We were lucky enough to get a table straight away when we visited Machine Laundry Cafe. A cute cafe with a great menu. All three of us had eggs of sorts and we were all very happy with our orders. Portion sizes were decent for the price and the fact there were quite a few options on the menu for everyone was a win. We also had the banana bread as a last minute add on which was amazing! It's location in Salamanca is perfect for a day exploring Hobart, the Market or if your catching the boat to MONA and the service was quick and friendly.
We chose to eat here due to good reviews on Trip Advisor and a recommendation from a relative. The food was good, and although we were only able to have outside seating initially we were moved inside when seating became available shortly after we arrived. We found good reviews of this for breakfast and decided to give it a go for breakfast. I had an enormous bowl of porridge and rhubarb. Just delicious and others in our group enjoyed perfectly cooked eggs. Coffee was good, service was punctual and efficient, if rather abrupt. Delicious breakfast enjoyed outside in the perfect winter sunshine.
This was recommended to me from a friend that knows Hobart well. Found it easily, tucked away in the quadrangle of the Salamanca Arts district. The restaurant was clean and the staff were friendly and polite. I ordered the Tiramisu French Toast amd my partner the Hotcakes. It was out of this world. I askes to shake the chefs hand!
Ein schöner Ort mit einem einzigartigen Konzept. Das Essen war gut, ich liebe das Ei Royal, und Kaffee ist auch großartig :) Wir hatten wirklich eine gute Zeit hier und werde wieder hierher kommen, um die nächste Reise nach Hobart ☺️☺️
Gutes Essen und Kaffee und es gibt Waschmaschinen hier! Das Menü besteht hauptsächlich aus üblichen Frühstücksgegenständen mit ein paar seltsamen, aber guten Kreationen. Verstecktes Juwel ! Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch
Die Atmosphäre dort ist wirklich nett und der Nahrungsmittelanteil ist wirklich groß! Auf jeden Fall ein schöner Ort, um Brunch zu haben, wo Sie auch so voll sein. Sehr empfehlenswert!
