Just to start this out as honestly as i can, we had just gotten out of a 6+ hour long drive so we were hungry and sorta didn't care about what to get just knew we wanted food! With that being said this food was amazing, we both got the Veggie Burrito and a fountain drink. Food didn't take long to get to us, we were seated upstairs, which on its own is a completely different experience that we weren't expecting, you walk into a small entrance where you can see the cooks making the orders and you place your order at the counter, not gonna lie the downstairs isn't much to look at but I do appreciate being able to see the cooks, not for security or anything, just because you don't see that too o...

Excellent food, outstanding customer service! We brought a bus group of 70+ high school students and parents through Memphis this week and ordered Maciel’s delivery. They made the whole experience nothing short of amazing. Communication was fantastic, and they accommodated our group in several ways, including labeling each meal with individual names to make distribution a breeze. The food was hot and waiting when we arrived to our destination, and it was absolutely delicious. Maciel’s did everything to make the whole process easy. I can’t recommend them enough!

Wow! This restaurant is a hidden gem. I decided to try a shrimp burrito and a spicy chicken street taco for fun. The meal came with chips and salsa, and the salsa had amazing spices. While the chips were just okay, the shrimp burrito with beans and rice was excellent. The spicy chicken street taco was packed with flavor and spice. I was truly impressed and will definitely be returning. This might just be the best Mexican food I've ever had. You have to come here!
great place for a couple of street tacos. perfect to grab and go or sit and eat. when they are immersed, they go up where the area is more open and that is better. the waiting staff will bring them chips and queso and will refill their drinks while they wait until they bring their order to them. overall, great value for the money. pretty impressed by the aromen that are simple but delicious.
This is the best casual Mexican restaurant in the city, offering reasonable prices and the friendliest staff. I highly recommend trying the nachos, tortas, guacamole, and gazpacho salad. Don't forget to try the tamales available on the weekends. They only serve beer, no alcohol. You can enjoy an indoor seat on the upper floor with complimentary chips and salsa.
I often order takeout or delivery from Maciel's in downtown! The tacos are tasty and my to-go orders are always filled correctly. Chips and ?variety? of salsas are free. I had two Fried Avocado tacos, and relished every bite. One of the best eateries in downtown Memphis, hands down!
