visited the facility with my engagement this morning and had the joy that maria was our server. Since many people came to the city, they were not as friendly or seemed as if they had no geduld. she is such a shady, very friendly, so professional! with this proverb goes a small quality a long way. the eating was amazing and the orange juice tasted like freshly squeezed oranges, so that definitiw was a plus. I am definitiw back before my trip to virginia. many thanks for the delicious food and exceptional service!
the food was great! the atmosphere was very unpleasant. it was very hot and muggy because the air was out. when I have put my care to the express, the owner continues to tell me that the air is on and works. While he lies to me clearly, they see the workers who watch our conversation as they shake their heads and say that no air works. they are not happy to work under these conditions. that makes me ask the safety of my eating because the cooks in the kitchen are sweating under extreme heat over the food.
This is probably my favorite restaurant in Grosse Pointe. The food is always delicious and easy on the wallet. The omelettes are massive and fluffy, the paninis are all wonderful, and i even find myself ordering salads for takeout fairly often. The only time I've ever had an issue with service was during a brunch rush on the weekend when the line was out the door and they were short staffed, but every other time it was great. I would recommend this place to anyone.
Excellent service. Started with the owner personally coming out to find us outside when our number came up. Owner also came to our table to share information on wait time(which was understandable) instead of us sitting waiting in the dark(Although wait time was 1/2 the time of another restaurant that we still haven?t received a call yet for a table(We already have our food from here). Mack Ave. Grill was awesome when we first loved to the area. However, our recent orders both in house and carry out has been hit or miss. The consistency has gone down and seems the ingredients are less fresh. Bad avocados, dips are super runny almost like water, etc. I?m sure Covid didn?t due this place any justice but it has started to go down hill with quality.
It was super rushed. Came every 2 minutes to ask if we were ready. The food looked good and it came on time, but it wasn't good. The food was all dry and the fries were all stale. The check came the second we got our food. Felt kinda pushed out tho it wasn't crowded. Probably won't come back
tired of the same old restaurant we go to (not misunderstand me). all have excellent food) but we have been looking for something new. I had the cream roar french toast, and when the waitress brought it, she said, here is your piece heaven. I can only say. we're coming back!
