Very disappointing. The food looks nothing like the pictures. I’m visiting from Baltimore, Maryland and was so happy to see an Authentic Italian Store. The pictures on Google show a crispy crust pizza with fresh ingredients. We ordered 2,8 inch mini pizzas. One with pepperoni, mushrooms and meatballs. The other had cheese. The pizza had a hair on it , but I picked it off and was just going to eat the other pieces. But the crust wasn’t even cooked, it was raw. The mushrooms were straight from a can. As soon as I picked a piece up all the toppings just slid off. I had hope for the half Cesar salad, but nope, not good either. The croutons were soggy and parts of the lettuce were brown from just...
I was really disappointed with this!!!Ordered subs , they had no flavour . So over priced , more bread then meat.I can go to Wegmans and order a massive foot long for the same price and it’s 2x the size. I wanted to give this place a benefit of the doubt , since reading other reviews. But very disappointing
my family cannot get enough of this place. yummm. the subs are top notch (but this is bc the only thing we have tried so far). of a person who used to live in italia, this place has the passion, high-quality ingredients and kitchen knowledge that imitate to an Italian nonna kitchen. Numbers
I would not recommend purchasing gift cards from this establishment. A friend bought me a $50 gift card, but when I tried to use it, it was declined. The Italian Place is my go to food spot in Old Town. The food is exceptionally good and authentic. My favorite are the sandwiches and the selection is huge. The service is always quick and the workers are extremely nice and happy. I would 100% recommend The Italian Place. Food: 5/5
they love this place — wonderful subparts with fresh ingredients. exceptionally friendly property and personal. good place for Italian imported were also. spacious seating area in free. I hope they will expand to the city of if church!
This restaurant was not what I expected! I had seen good reviews, so I had to try it. I wish I had never gone. Whoever made my sandwich did a poor job - it tasted only like oregano. None of the ingredients I asked for were included.
Always wonderful food and quick and friendly service. Very easy to park nearby and walk up for a high quality pizza (definitely some of the best in the DC area), a good sandwich, or coffee. Always stop when I'm in the area Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch
The pizza was decent, but everything else fell short. The restaurant had no indoor seating, the exterior was messy, there were limited supplies, and the service was only average. Overall, it could have been better.
