I was searching for an American eatery and finally found this GREAT PLACE which opened back in 1952 (was told by waitress) in which I didn 't know until today. Ordered Ruben sandwich with potato salad were really fresh and excellently prepared, my sister ordered bacon, eggs and hashbrown and white toast again everything were cooked and prepared just perfect. I have not eaten this good breakfast and lunch menus for a loooong time. Highly recommend Mac 's for quality food, friendly services and most of all very reasonable menu prices. 12/13/2021; Second visit to Mac 's since last visit was so good but today it was not so good. As I entered I was quickly greeted and sat and a neatly set table, the waitress was very kind and quickly brought us drinks. Our food came in a very timely manner and it?s was cooked WELL. I?m a big fan of corned beef for breakfast so I like to try it everywhere. You can tell it?s cooked fresh here and not from a can. As we were eating she was attentive and brought us the check before we were done. The reason I mention this is because I love being able to pay prior to being finished eating. I think it?s so convenient to be done with the bill and then be able to just get up and go versus waiting around for the bill. I really enjoyed this restaurant and I think the run it very well.
Mac's is the heart of Santa Rosa! My sister took me here for lunch. she was craving the egg salad sandwich and the potato salad.. that she doubled up on and took home. I of course had the half soup/ half salad. That filled me up! their portions are ginormous! The food is absolutely to die for..... Each bite is mouth watering and you just can't put it down! you just can't. Even my raspberry tea was perfect! the service was impeccable. Located right downtown and right next to a parking lot... you can't beat it. Perfect location!
Breakfast here is awesome, I had the corned beef hash as well and I eat that at a lot of different places. The one was just a side but it was really above and beyond, it was really flavorful and well cooked. What really makes this place is the staff, they say there has been the same ownership since the 70s, and it really shows. The vibe was that of sincere care. An excellent experience to say the least.

Met with an old friend after 20 years to catch up. She chose Mac's because she uses a walker and knew the entrance is flat and aisle is wide enough to pass with ease. Menu has numerous items...everything a deli should have, and very reasonably priced. Portions are large, substitutions are allowed, and our server was so friendly. Wish I had known about Mac's a long time ago. Will definitely go back.
Walking into this place you would think a plate costs 30$ and up... But nope.. super cute and classy. Me and my boyfriends bill was only 24 bucks all together! His sandwich was huge and the waffle was so tasty I even took some home! The girls up front were so nice and helpful because we didn't know what was good and they had amazing suggestions. Will be coming here again!
We had a very tasty lunch ?! I enjoyed the Turkey Noodle Soup and Pastrami sandwich. It's very fresh and delicious. Ordered the Club Sandwich meal also Bacon Cheeseburger with Onion Rings. Both were fresh and flavourful! We'll definitely be back to try the breakfast menu.
Not coming back only because of the SMELL! Staff was great and food was good too! Lastly homeless people were coming and going into the bathroom. Environment definitely brings this place down.

My mom and I went here today for breakfast. It was so good! We both had yummy omelettes. I had a veggie one with ham added and she had the spinach, cheese one. Definitely going back
