I have visited Made in Italy more than a few times and each time I am filled with pleasure. They offer fresh made focaccia sandwiches with authentic spicy Italian sausage, sun-dried tomatoes, and rocket leaves, as well as fresh pizza for lunch or an early evening meal with the family. Their authentic pizza and pasta dishes remind me of my travels to Italy, where I learned that each region has its own version of these classic dishes. The reviews were not reliable. Our experience at MadeinItaly was disappointing. The pasta was undercooked and the cheese was bland. Our request for 'extra spicy' cajun pasta was ignored. The chicken was tasty, but the sauce was not. We decided not to stay for coffee cake because a child was coughing over the pastries behind the counter. The service was okay, but they could not accept cash because they had no change. We will not be returning to this place or listening to reviews again after traveling two hours for this experience.
The coffee at this restaurant is excellent, especially the espresso and macchiato, which are rich in flavor. The staff is wonderful and the atmosphere is very cozy, almost like being in a quaint Italian village. They are dog friendly and offer dine-in service for dinner with prices ranging from £10 to £20 per person.
