Let me start by saying that this restaurant is very unorganized. It took over 30 minutes to order and another hour to get our food. We had a large group so I was trying to be patient but it was simply ridiculous. Many items we ordered were actually never delivered to the table and we had to keep asking for them over and over again. My sister received her garlic bread after dinner. And, what seafood restaurant selling lobster and crab does not have crab crackers and lobster picks when they serve the food. They said they had to wash them if we wanted them. Ughhh really? At 6:30 on a Wednesday night, this small restaurant had 4 other tables occupied. The server was friendly and seated our party of 4 in a booth. The atmosphere was casual and clean, with paper tablecloths typically found in seafood boil restaurants. The napkins were paper and the utensils were plastic. They offered a variety of Pepsi products for $2.99 each in paper cups, as well as hot green tea for $1.99 in a paper cup. Unfortunately, they were out of mussels and scallops. This restaurant was fantastic. The service was friendly, the atmosphere was not too crowded, and it was very family-friendly. The decor was simple but welcoming. The seafood was fresh and flavorful. My only warning is to be careful with spicy dishes because they do not hold back on the heat at all. I loved being able to eat with my hands and thoroughly enjoyed the meal. This was the best crab boil I have had in this area so far.
Came to Crawling Crab with a group of 12+ for a birthday and left so very stuffed and happy. This place is an experience, from the plastic bibs to the succulent seafood. The All-In flavor here is really tasty. Similar establishments have a worse flavor in comparison, but they do sometimes have fresher fish. With crawling crab it's a bit hit or miss on whether the seafood will be fresh or not. Also don't expect high quality service. They are trying to get people in and out quickly
The crawling crab is as close to New Orleans seafood as it gets! Awesome crawfish, and fresh fresh fresh oysters at a great price. Have eaten there many many times and never disappointed! And yes plastic bags and silver wear is how it's traditionally done! Best kept secret in town!
I'm sorry but the food was not good in my opinion at all! The shrimp was overcooked not flavored I'm assuming the crawfish was not fresh because i ate 2 pounds having food poisoning the next day 0/10 recommend!!!!!!!
