My boyfriend and I went here for our six month anniversary. While the waitress was fine and the food was good the loaded fries were bad... Shoe string fries that were very greasy and poorly cooked bacon. The real problem though was what I can only be assumed was the owner. She saw us come in but waited until a waitress came to seat us to rudely tell her no, and claim they would have no space inside the restaurant with the reservations that would be coming in. She then said we Could sit outside but it would be chilly it was a beautiful day out) and just seemed like she didn't want to tell us to leave. Was greeted warmly by a server, only to have the much older woman behind the bar immediately confront her employee and speak to her like a child due to their impending reservations. She made us feel unwanted. Especially when the suggestion arose that we could dine outdoors. Every excuse from the wind to the cold was given to discourage our staying there. Soggy fries weren't great but the rest of the food was really good. Definitely not a place that is big enough or organized enough to warrant a reservation agenda.
Not very impressed, but didn't hate it. The staff were very nice and the back deck view was amazing. The shrimp Alfredo was very bland. I ordered fish fry with butter garlic broiled shrimp, but they brought me just butter broiled fish and streamed shrimp which was all very bland,but we waited a long time to get our food so we weren't sending it back. We swoped meals and ate enough to not be hungry. Beautiful place.
we went to this restaurant to try something else. if we had been well treated, we would come back if we were to visit the opposite. I was so disappointed. we were totally ignored. the table that came after us was treated big. we always tap well when the service is good. we are not coming back. eating was okay. nothing to write home. the service was terrible.

We really enjoyed our meal. My burger was great and my husbands Fish Fry was so fresh that even though I don't like Fish, I ate it. There was a little mix-up of our meal but they were so nice, they comped us two of the most delicious deserts. All in all the best meal we have had on our cross NY state car trip. Thanks Main Landing for a great meal!
This restaurant offers fantastic outdoor seating with beautiful views of the marina and the lake. We’ve dined here several times, and it has become one of our favorites in the Jamestown area. The food is excellent, and the prices are reasonable—actually a bit lower than we anticipated. The servers are friendly and attentive as well.
This restaurant has a fantastic atmosphere and delicious food. It's situated right by the water, offering a beautiful view. Their breakfast feels like great home cooking, and the service is top-notch. The staff even assisted us with tying up our boat when they had a moment to spare. This place truly is a hidden gem!
Wonderful atmosphere, great service from our waitress Mindy! Reasonable prices. Had more fun here than the fancy, overpriced restaurant we went to the previous night. The drink I had OMG had real ingredients not made from a concentrate.

I had the "Chautauqua Louie" salad, and it was absolutely delicious! I also enjoyed a refreshing strawberry Daiquiri—it was perfect!
Very friendly staff. We sat outside for breakfast. Good mimosas. Reasonable prices. Food was average but certainly no complaints!
