The appetizers were good (pretzel bread sticks with cheese and fried mushrooms make sure you get the spicy Ranch dip for a neat kick). They were hot and had big servings but nothing spectacular.I ordered the mushroom and Swiss burger, which was smaller than I expected. The burger was supposed to be medium rare but was actually almost well done. The burger was also very thin, but overall the sandwich tasted pretty good. Used to love it here but...Not sure what has happened to this place but last night we went for dinner and it was just awful. My husband's burger looked like a small burger out of a freezer package that had been stuck in the microwave. I got the salmon burger and it simply had no flavor. I had to drown it and the Jamaican slaw in salt just to eat it. Where's the seasoning? Son got a Chipotle chicken Flatbread. It was also dry with zero flavor. No Chipotle sauce. The waitress seemed clueless and we were on a time schedule to be somewhere so I did not speak to the mgr but just save your money and go elsewhere. I can cook much better than what we had here. I craved the patty melt from Main Street Grille because it always had just the right ratio of melty cheese to burger to grilled onions. While it was still above average, this time there were nearly zero onions and the burger seemed to have no seasoning at all. Service was prompt, pleasant professional. Atmosphere is great for people watching, but also a great place to enjoy table-talk. I'll order this again, but I'll be on the lookout for that superior taste I had here before.
Anytime you go to a place that has a $12 burger and they don’t ask how you’d like like that cooked should be a red flag, but we ordered it anyways. Tasted like a frozen patty defrosted cooked to well done! So terrible. The Greek wrap was doughy. Tomato and cucumber salad tasted old. Great place for a bite to eat. Had the Lobster Bisque and a house salad with real Bleu cheese dressing. Delicious! It was perfect to sit with my mom and have a conversation without needing to yell at each other. Everyone working there was very nice, personable and attentive. We will definitely be meeting there again.
First time here but not the last. Everything was great, except the server did seem to have much of a personality. She was nice and order was correct, just seemed like she didn't wanna be there. Maybe she was just having an off day. We'll still be back either way
This place has the best food, best pricing and servers that are at their best. Been to a lot of Pubs on south side and Main Street tops them all.
