tapas were tasty and they were eating in such a relaxed, warm atmosphere, made our evening so special. large selection of wine on the menu. so friendly service. we booked a table at the end of our night to go back a month later, and I must say that it was just the second time round. that is an absolutely beautiful restaurant.
great lunch. went to malvarosa for a relaxed mothers day lunch and were all very impressed. service was friendly, fun and very good. the choice of the tapas was good, and the food was excellent. beautiful relaxed atmosphere. not cheap, but a great tasty bite and we will come back.
Amazing restaurant. Food is absolutely delicious. Alvaro and staff are amazing, s laid back and friendly. My husband and I love it here and have introduced many of our family and friends who have absolutely loved the experience too. Highly recommend this wee gem.

Spanish eat best. tapas, paella and wein in a traditional Spanish environment. along the portobello beach is the perfect evening. a meal, followed by a walk on the beach, will wash away all bad memories. a must in edinburgh.
Hmmmall the staff in here just seem plain bored! And it really does translate into the food as I can only describe it as lacklustre.
Been many times now. Always delicious and the staff are fantastic. A real jewel on the Portobello high street.
