After reading positive reviews from Joe K , Kan Do  & Ronnielui2003 , I finally made my way to Mama Malaya. The family operated eatery specializes in traditional Malaysian cuisines. After reviewing their vast selection, we ordered Roti Canai (Indian bread with curry dipping sauce), Har Mee (prawn noodle soup) and Char Kueh Teow (stir fried flat rice noodle). Roti Canai made a welcoming start to this meal. The Indian bread was flaky, oily and soft with an addictive buttery scent. We had to go to Underwood to get new tyres for my car. Suddenly I realised that we were just up the road from Mama Malaya! After advising Johnk2154 of this predicament, it was a no brainer of where we were having lunch....yippeeee! After the review by Joe K we started with the Roti Canai. Hubby chose the Hor Fun Combination and on special was the Chicken Satay Skewers, so I chose those. The bread with the curry sauce was wonderfully flakey, but really wanted some more of this winderful bread to soak up the curry 3.5/5. The Hor Fun Combination was amazing. It doesn't look too great from the outside But don't let that fool you Cheap lunch specials and authentic I've had the Har Mee, Hokkien Mee, Nasi Lemak

Hidden treasure just like overseas Doesn't look appealing from the outside but Great! authentic tasting food.
