The atmosphere is surprisingly inviting, considering it's located inside a gas station. The chef is excellent, and the woman at the counter was friendly and welcoming. I had to wait about 10 minutes for my pizza, which was just enough time for me to grab a drink nearby. When my pizza arrived, the crust was perfect—crispy yet chewy, something that many pizzerias struggle to achieve. It was served piping hot, and the toppings were bursting with flavor, definitely some of the best I’ve tasted. Though I might be comparing this place to others, I really want to highlight how Mama Z has truly outperformed all the pizzerias I’ve visited. Came here again for lunch because I wanted to try more things on their menu. Oh my gosh! I'm so glad I did! I split the #1 family meal with coworkers. Comes with two large, 1 topping pizzas, 8 wings and a 2 Liter of soda. The service and the food are, as always, spot on! Everyone was full, and everyone loved the pizza. None of my coworkers have ever had Mama Z's before, and they were surprised when I told them it was inside of the Circle K gas station. It's too bad we couldn't eat there, but we were pressed for time. It's a really neat space. Well, needless to say, we will be returning in the future. So glad we found this hidden gem and Chino Hills.
This is easy. Came 1.5 hours in advance, paid over $80 for 3 pizzas and added a tip as well. Specifically asked this empty pizza restaurant if I can order and pay in advance to pick up the food at 12:30Arrive at 12:30 and he just began making it. VERY annoying. Might not seem a big issue, but when you go out of your way to arrange something, they happily take your money for it, then don’t hold their part of the bargain. Ridiculous, the place is entirely empty and literally the only pizzas he’s had to make.
We LOVE Mama Z's pizza!!! We've tried almost all the nearby pizza places, and this is one of our favorites. The pizza is delicious and the customer service is great. The only thing is that they do get our order not exactly right about 1/3 of the time. (ie. I asked for pineapple to be only on half, and it was on the whole thing, or they only gave us one 2 liter when I ordered 2 minor things like that), but they are always quick to make things right. We stopped by this afternoon to grab some lunch and refuel our RV before heading to camp at Prado. Magic’s prepared two of the most delicious cheeseburger combos we've had in a long time. The burgers were sizable and incredibly flavorful. We've also tried their pizzas and gyros before, and both are outstanding!
Pizza is good but chicken is just so so ! Small place is better for two or three people. I usually order to go! Service is good too and often give discount !
The pizza has a NY-style flavor that I really enjoy. I just wish the crust was a bit crispier. The service is quick and friendly.
