We picked this restaurant because we enjoy supporting small businesses and had heard great things in the reviews. It turned out to be a fantastic choice! The food was excellent, and the grits were out of this world—definitely a standout! The service was exceptional; everyone was friendly and cheerful. The place was spotless, including the ladies' room, which was very well-maintained. We were just passing through town, but we’ll definitely add this to our list of places to revisit when we're in the area. We only had breakfast this time, but we’re eager to try their homemade lunch offerings in the future. Thank you for a wonderful experience!
I walked in without much expectation, but I ended up having a fantastic meal. First off, the service was exceptional, which really enhanced the dining experience. The restaurant had a classic diner vibe, and the food was delicious. The friendly staff and the inviting atmosphere truly stole the show! I enjoyed my meal while chatting with other diners, it felt like a gathering at a family member's home. I will definitely return the next time I'm in the area!
Very bad experience today 2/9/2024. Stopped in for breakfast (this was our second time dining there) the service was terrible. Husband wanted ketchup and mustard for his omelet I wanted an order of toast. Waitress said we don't have mustard and the toast came after we ate our omelette s. Husband said look at this plate, her remark was we have 4 people and one toaster. Will not return
Catfish and eggs are my my favorite breakfasts. I have to ask for coffee refills and waitresses forget several items You have all 3 waitresses ask if you ordered yet. And by the time I got extra items, ask for the food had to been reheated, asked for wheat toast, and asked if they had wheat they said yes and still get white toast we are taking a break from here (Tater)

Certain days in their drive-thru they give out free meals. (Which is great! You can't beat that) only up to 3 plates. Food is great! They young girl is always nice and quick! My friends and I enjoy everything. If your not sure about it, go to the drive-thru and try it for free! You'll wouldn't regret it.?
Should've taken a picture, the worst!!! Picked up the hashbrowns to eat like it was sandwich, fried extremely hard. Western omelet was flat with bell peppers and ham chunks, nothing Western about it. Definitely will not return!!!
So being an Orangeburg local I've known and been going to Mama's Kountry Kooking since I was a little boy. The food has always been how mama used to make it. Service is quick and kind, the food is served hot and delicious.
The food was enjoyable overall. The gravy and biscuits were decent, but not exceptional. The service was pleasant, and the coffee was also satisfactory. The hash browns, eggs, bacon, and sausage were all quite good.
