I attended Saturday (1/22)and was told by a very knowledgeable security guard that it was hip hop night and usually the crowd starts at 11.30pm . We returned at about 12.45am and was told by the female promoter, yes, there were lots of ppl and the entrance fee is 20 dollars. We paid and when we walked in there were only 15 ppl the music was mainly Latin music, nothings wrong with any type of music but the female promoter was deceiving, deceptive and cunning. We stayed almost 30 minutes until we had enough. Upon exiting, I requested to speak with the manager. The atmosphere at this restaurant is definitely enjoyable—there's a great crowd and good music, and I had a good time for sure. However, I can't give it more than 3 stars because what others have said is accurate: the drinks are overpriced. I was charged $18 for a small Long Island Iced Tea and a bottle of water, which I found absolutely ridiculous. The bartender was sweet and friendly, but those drink prices just don't work for me. I would recommend the venue, but I'd say a firm no when it comes to the drinks.
It's a small spot in the middle Of the hood and was charged $10 for entrance ok that's fine but then went for a 2 double henny drinks for $54. I figured they reaching for a high end club. Then went back to the bar and requested 2 jacks and was charged more than the henny. Since when is jack more than henny in an urban area? Never again! I'll stick with jersey city! The DJ must be charging a lot for these drinks to be that much. And just paid $32 for a hookah that won't pull! Smh!

They really need to keep their schedule updated daily. I went there on a Friday, and the website indicated they were open. But guess what? They were closed.
