Not a place I 'll be running back to. The food was okay , service was good, but none of it was fine dining . Decor and design is VERY dated and cluttered, bar selection is very limited. COVID can be blamed for some things, I 'm sure, but frozen food should NEVER be included in anything being called fine dining. The salad was the only thing I had that had not been frozen. The experience was friendly but also disappointing since Lufkin could use some true fine dining.
Incredibly knowledgeable service members, really friendly staff and an owner who loves his business and staff and customers. The food is delicious, the cook(s) perfectly order, and the presentation is wonderful. The ambience is beautiful and romantic, but works well for friendly dinners and/or work meetings. I've never been dissatisfied with anyone from Manhattan, and I highly recommend them.
Surprisingly good restaurant in a very unusual building. The other diners were, largely, an older crowd, so this would be a great place for a peaceful dinner without the distraction of loud noise and scores. My wife and I had salmon and it was excellent. This is the one thing I wish could be packed and moved with me. The atmosphere is such I always wanted to stay for dessert, but the entree was always so good there was never room. I hope My table is occupied regular.
Enjoy a nice evening with a refreshing atmosphere of a friendly host and quality service. Our trout was excellent and the filled mushrooms excellent. A wide selection of wines makes a nice evening.
Table cloth, silverware, china plates, great food at a very reasonable price. Service and atmosphere flat out terrific. This the place to take a girlfriend or wife for special occasions.
