My mom and I recently dined at the McAlister's in Lufkin. The restaurant was very clean and spacious. I ordered the Cranberry Orange McAlister sandwich along with the tomato and cucumber salad. Everything was tasty, though I thought there was a bit too much cranberry orange sauce on the sandwich. The meal includes four sandwich pieces and a side. Also, the Cinnabon cheesecake is a must-try!
After a few years, I returned to this restaurant and was pleasantly surprised! The children's meals were reasonably priced and offered great value. There were many menu options, and it would have been nice to have a physical menu in hand instead of searching through our bags for it. The staff was friendly and helpful, and the restaurant itself was very clean and in a great location.
The service was polite and quick. The Ultimate Nachos had great flavor and a generous amount of meat sauce, along with good toppings, but the chips were stale. The King Club had a nice flavor and a satisfying amount of ingredients, but the bread was also stale. Next time, I'll make sure to check the freshness of the chips and bread before leaving.
I recently placed a large pickup order and had the pleasure of working with Antonio, who was incredibly helpful and polite. When I needed to call back to make a change, Jessica was just as delightful. It's refreshing and impressive to experience such excellent customer service these days! Keep it up! Went here for the first time in several years. Kids meals were excellently priced! A lot of menu options, wish we had a menu to put in hand instead of craning our necks up trying to capture it all in. Friendly, helpful staff. Very clean restaurant in a good area
Worked with Antonio to place a large pick up order--he was so very helpful and polite. When I had to call back to change something, Jessica was just as pleasant. It is amazing, and surprising lately, to have such great customer service! Keep up the good work!
Excellent food and service! The sandwiches, soups, and potatoes are fantastic. I highly recommend trying the Reuben; it’s like the Voltron of sandwiches—far superior to the individual components.
