we ate at so many places in nashville in so short time because I really tried to touch all their most remarkable restaurants. brandhandwerk eating is one of these places. this European café and marketplace is located in the heart of the historic east nashville and seemed like this perfect brunch option. the restaurant itself is very sweet with split-level food paired with a small market place. Very nice place and good food.. We went for a little family dinner and the place is very nice and clean with a great atmosphere. The service was very good and food was delicious very good size plates, we had pork chops and chicken and it was a very big plates, the only dissapointing thing was on the dessert, i ordered the traditional creme brule and the caramel was chewy and nothing like the crunchy traditional caramel, the vainilla creme had a weird texture, but after a fantastic meal i think i can live without ordering dessert in the future.. lol.
This is probably the finest cuisine one will find in East Nashville!! There isn't a bad item on the menu. Everything is served fresh. I eat here multiple times per week. The coffee (Drews Brews) is the best I've found on the East Side. Everyone is very friendly and professional. There is a reason on Sundays people line up before it's even open and celebrities patron... It's just that good!
marché is always amazing. this time I had the sweet potato, which was incredible with two eggs upstairs. the crispy speckseite is excellent and I love greens in the am. the americano was perfection. it becomes disgusting inside, so if they are looking for a quiet place, that's not it. We had a cheese sandwich that was to die for. The cheese was gooey and perfectly grilled with leaks mixed in. The scrambled eggs were tender and fluffy. The apple chicken sausage was delicious. We also ordered the bread basket with a plate of Nutella, home made strawberry jam, local honey . Service was great. The dessert case looked beautiful! See pictures!
We had an excellent lunch. My daughter, who is not afraid to try different foods, enjoyed her quinoa burger. My wife's savory crepes had a perfect amount of cheese. My salmon carpaccio disappeared completely awesome. The star of the lunch was the homemade orange marmalade served with the cheese plate appetizer. We bought some of the marmalade to go.
We've paid a couple of visits to Marché in East Nashville for brunch and dinner. From our two experiences there, our batting average has been With a menu that changes seasonally and then some, it's hard to recall a description of every meal so I'm going to call this an over-review that speaks more in generalities.

my favourite place for brunch in nashville! great drinks, great eating, great atmosphere. you can't go wrong with marche! are they ready to wait in a sound when they go on Sunday.
