Food to remember! Starters of unusually small squid (calamaretti) - melt in your mouth delicious - followed by scallops wrapped in ham and served with finely sliced shallots cooked with mustard. We've not had a better meal prepared for us for a long while, and were served with a smile and unhurriedly even though the restaurant was full. All this very poignant as the Margaux will close in its present location in another 6 weeks. So get there beforehand and enjoy the wonderful food, but also if you have any ideas for a new location the owners would be happy to hear them. One important proviso - a place suitable for jazz nights is essential so that the tradition of monthly or more frequent conc...
We have been to Margaux on a few occasions, and I am sad to read that the restaurant will close at the end of March 2015, as the lease is not renewed. The food is well prepared and presented, and quality of ingredients is generally high. Foie gras and crispy calamaretti are excellent starters, and the 'catch of the day' will not let you down as a main course. There are two menus on offer, but with wine pairings they are a little expensive, and you'll probably be better off 'à la carte'. Friendly and attentive service; the atmosphere of the restaurant is warm. Prices tend to be a little on the high side, though.
Der Name wurde unter dem Namen „Le Milieu“ geändert. Wiederholen Sie den Empfang von der sympathischen Maria, die vor mehr als 20 Jahren von der Gönnerin empfangen wurde. Eine bemerkenswerte Rückkehr zu diesem Dorfrestaurant oder der schönen Atmosphäre, die es gibt. Der Saal in der Krippe unter der Sonne bietet in einer Höhle einen einzigartigen Charme. Ein Pluspunkt und viele sind sehr gut. Die Speisen auf dem Ardoise sind auf originelle Weise präsentiert, es ist nicht einfach, das Thema zu variieren.
Voilà quelques années que nous nous rendons au Margaux, en couple ou avec des amis. A chaque fois, le plaisir est au rendez-vous : cuisine recherchée et savoureuse; belle sélection de vins et accueil chaleureux ! Hélas, nous avons appris que ce restaurant va fermer, les propriétaires ayant refusé de renouveler le bail. Ils vont y ouvrir leur restaurant ... profitant ainsi de la renommée que l'équipe du Margaux a patiemment construite au cours des ans. Quel dommage ! Evelyne P.

La Comete ist ein Muss und es ist wunderschön gemacht. Ziemlich große Portion, also unbedingt teilen. Lustiger und freundlicher Besitzer, der sich über mich lustig gemacht hat, weil ich nach Leitungswasser gefragt habe... Wenn nur mein Französisch gut genug gewesen wäre, um den Witz zu verstehen... Hatte ein vegetarisches Risotto, das gut gemacht war. Auf jeden Fall teuer, selbst nach Schweizer Maßstäben.
Wie mehrere Restaurants in der Gegend enttäuscht auch das MargauX nicht. Sehr gute Suppe, sie haben eine Fleischspezialität (Filet de bœuf « Comète » sur le réchaud), die mich nicht überzeugt hat - aber das kann eine Geschmacksfrage sein - gute Beilagen und sehr gute Desserts.
Leider existiert dieser angenehme Ort nicht mehr. Vor einiger Zeit schloss er aus Gründen, die mir unbekannt sind, seine Türen. Schade! Hoffentlich werden uns die ehemaligen Mieter irgendwann mit einem neuen Treffpunkt überraschen.
