I have been working as a meat cutter at this restaurant for three months now, and I have to say that the warehouse management is not suited for the job at all. The manager only seems concerned with showing authority and treating employees like pawns rather than humans. There is a lack of communication and teamwork in the meat department, with employees just doing what they want without care. It feels like a chaotic free-for-all, and if someone truly cares about their work, it is unlikely to get done properly. The restaurant has a good variety of options to choose from. However, the prices are a bit on the higher side. I am not a fan of the discount card system they have in place. I don't visit this restaurant regularly, it's more of a place I go to when I have something specific in mind.
I enjoyed my visit to Mariano's. The soup at the Hot Bar was delicious and they offer locally produced products in their stores, including my favorite kombucha brand KOMBUCHADE, made in Chicago with Rishi Tea and Herbs. I was happy to find it in the juice cooler.

I had a terrible experience with curbside pickup at this restaurant. I was left waiting for over 30 minutes and was told it would be just a little longer. I would recommend going to Heinen's instead.
They have great vegetables and some good sales at times. Some prices are high fir the Kraft deluxe cheese that I buy. $18 for 108 slices. Use to be $15 a few weeks ago.
I wish they had more shopping baskets. It's nearly impossible to find any at the front of the store or by the checkout lanes and I prefer to use them over a cart.
This is not the grocery store experience you want. Unhelpful staff, expired products everywhere, and everything is overpriced. I'll be going to Woodmans instead.
