I can 't believe that I 've never heard of Maria 's Cucina. It 's located in a quieter section of Federal Hill and I appreciated the parking availability. It 's an old Victorian house that looks a little worn on the outside, but don 't be fooled the interior will blow you away. The vibe is old school Italian in a classy way. You feel like you are dining out . The service could not have been better. Our server, Jenna, was a gem. The fried calamari was perfectly cooked crispy tender. I had mixed feelings about the entrees. The bone in pounded veal Parmesan was excellent and the portion was huge! I was underwhelmed by the carbonara. No room for dessert on this visit but, eyeing the lemon olive...
We had our Father-in-Law's 80th birthday there this weekend...there were 16 in our party. What a wonderful time! The food was EXCELLENT...I had the mushroom tortelloni with scallops special. The linguini with clams I heard was a little heavy on crushed red pepper, but all other dishes were enjoyed! Our server, LaLena was also excellent!! So friendly and knew the menu inside and out with any questions we had. Fantastic time...THANK YOU!
Excellent venue. Great food great people.very accommodating. We traveled 300 miles to Providence just to see this wonderful historic building. The photos do not do it justice. Must see it in person. The proprietor was very accadating. The food selections were above excellent. Thank you Chris. BTY YOUR WAIT STAFF WERE ABOVE AND BEYOND.
One of the best Italian restaurants I have ever been to and I am Italian! The food is amazing, the venue is classic Italian and the location on Federal Hill in Providence is the best. The owner, Chris, made sure we were happy and was very personable. As an Italian, I recommend Maria's Cucina in a heartbeat.

Excellent dining, generous portions, relaxed, but attentive service. Great menu options. Outdoor dining is available, and far enough away from the street that you can eat in peace. Ample parking in a lot.
We had our granddaughters Fist Communion celebration at Maria’s Cucina . Everything from the food to the staff was outstanding. Would definitely recommend for a party or just an evening out for dinner .
