Overall, my experience was okay. The margaritas were smaller than expected, and the taco tortillas were quite tiny—more like street taco size. On the plus side, the meat portions were generous and flavorful. The salsa had a pleasant smoky kick, but the salsa verde lacked flavor. The hot sauce was good, though. Unfortunately, the service was disappointing; we weren’t offered refills of chips and salsa, and after ordering one margarita, we were given two by mistake. Additionally, the server initially placed salsa at our table before moving it to another, which is unprofessional. Based on this visit, I’d rate Maria’s Mexican Grill 2.5 out of 5 stars. There’s definitely room for improvement.

I've only tried the steak burritos and steak quesadillas at this restaurant, and both were fantastic—super cheesy, which I love. The hot sauce and green salsa were excellent complements to the meal. I will definitely be coming back more often. I found it a bit strange that they share a space with a Chinese restaurant. On my latest visit, I ordered takeout and mistakenly thought they had given me a couple of egg rolls. When I got home, I discovered that my salsa cups were just in a bag that looked like one for egg rolls!
I used to eat at Maria's Mexican Grill frequently when it first opened, and the food and drinks were excellent at reasonable prices. I really wish I still lived nearby because I would definitely be a regular. I’ve heard that Maria's was bought by a Chinese-American family who also own a great Chinese restaurant just a few doors down. As far as I know, they still offer a solid Mexican menu. Even under new ownership, this place continues to serve a classic Mexican bar menu and remains as good as ever.

I truly enjoy visiting this restaurant every time I'm in town, which is roughly every other week. I typically stop by for a margarita because they are outstanding and truly remarkable! They definitely know how to craft a great drink. I often leave feeling great even after just one house margarita! The chips and salsa are excellent, and the staff is always wonderful. It’s definitely one of my top choices for drinks and food!
I ordered a taco salad for lunch but was told they were out of shells. I requested extra chips, but they were also unavailable. The chicken in the salad was simply seasoned with salt, and the iced tea, which was green tea, had no flavor. My friend ordered beef tacos, and they resembled sloppy joes. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this place.
