I had a disappointing experience at the Marie Callender's on Western in Gardena. It felt like our meal was deliberately messed up. I ordered three pot pies, and they were hard, as though they had been microwaved for 20 minutes. The clam chowder was lumpy, two of our drinks were off, and the cornbread was tough. The manager acknowledged that our order was inedible and told us not to worry about the bill but didn’t ask what went wrong. I’ve always enjoyed Marie Callender's, especially the cornbread, but this visit to a place I used to love was awful. I’m currently involved in a lawsuit against the county VA and this feels like another instance of their retaliation tactics.
Came in for a late lunch early dinner was absolutely delicious .Staff was super friendly , reminded me of an old white granny Atmosphere . I was feeling like I was at Grandmas pad but white grandma's because there was no smell of bean and sopa . We ordered Shepherds pie, chicken pot pie a Hamburger forgot the name of it , kids Mac and cheese and a kids salad bar everything was good. Food was delivered super hot to the table 2 of us burnt our mouth, but its all good,The Banana cream pie , off the chain hands down delicious! We didn't want to roll our fat asses out of there super comfortable, All in all will be back. ASAP Panchita !
I really miss having one closer to me. The closest ones are 5.5 miles away. Unfortunately, the chain has fallen on hard times the last decade. They still make the BEST pies of any restaurant BY FAR!! I can totally recommend the Razzleberry and the fresh Peach (don't get it too early in the season!! It used to be our go-to dinner spot on Sunday evenings, until the closer ones shutdown. Please support this restaurant, otherwise it will be nearly impossible to get a great pie for the holidays!! Prayers for you!!
Tonight, at 7: 55 p.m. on 8/19 my wife and I went to Marie Calendar 's for dinner. We eat there frequently. The restaurant was scheduled to close at 9:00 p.m. When we entered the restaurant the staff promptly told us they decided to close the restaurant at 8:00 p.m. instead. When we verify the restaurant hours and drive to it on a very busy evening, it is very disappointing to be told We decided we are closing at 8:00 tonight. Restaurant/bakery in the local strip mall. You could dine in but a lot of people were buying the pies to go. All cherry, peach, and apple pies were fresh and delicious. Each slice is a bit pricey but definitely better than the regular homemade pie crust a bit buttery and flakey but not like the puff pastry. We want to try their $35 dinner and pie deal but it is also nice to be able to take out pies. They took Amex. Parking is plenty though this area gets really crowded and each parking spot is a bit tight.
Looking for a delicious slice of pie or an entire pie? This is the spot to visit. I really enjoy their pies, but the service can be inconsistent. When we received our slices, they weren't packaged very carefully and looked a bit messy when we opened them. It's probably best to enjoy the pie right there at the restaurant.
I miss the days of fresh out of the oven cornbread watching my cornbread go in the microwave turned me off I ate the double shrimp pasta meal pasta and sauce was really good shrimps were small the fried shrimp on top or more crispy for my taste I wish they had done better

My mom and I stopped here for some soup. We had navy bean soup and cornbread, and it was really delicious. I couldn’t eat anything else! The restaurant is very clean and well-maintained.
