I recently dined at a restaurant that used to be called Burger City Grill, but is now named Eat Fantastic. The first thing I noticed was the change in name. I ordered the PC Hamburger during my first visit at the Lomita location, and today I tried the same burger at the Torrance location. Unfortunately, it was not the same. The Brioche bun looked more like a regular hamburger bun, and the taste of the burger seemed different. I was not sure if the quality of the burger had stayed the same.
I went through the drive-thru and ordered a vanilla shake. I typically dine in and observe the staff make the shakes by hand. They handed me the shake in under 3 minutes, I paid and quickly left. Upon reaching the first stoplight and taking a sip, I realized the milkshake was more like milk than ice cream. I called the restaurant and they claimed it was made correctly. I explained that I had seen them blend the ice, but they still insisted it was fresh.
The burgers here are really good. The meat is never dry and the ingredients always fresh. Haven’t had a bad burger here. We also had their chicken tenders which are the best we’ve had in So Cal as they are always crispy and moist despite them being white meat.There are many chicken speciality spots that don’t even come close so definitely try these out if you’re a fan of chicken strips/tenders.
The midday combo is a great deal. The burger is tasty and the two chicken breasts are moist and not overcooked (also delicious - dare I say better than the famous chicken place). It comes with fries and a cookie. The burger with the onion rings and special grill sauce (I forget the name) was also delicious. How do I know about both? First, the customer service is fantastic! The people behind the counter were so full of energy and seemed genuinely happy. Now, onto the food. We ordered 4 burgers, one protein style, one with bacin and onion rings, 3 fries, and one order of onion rings. Everything was really good! The onion rings needed salt but everything else was yummy!
Girlfriend and I got the Fantastic Burger Combo and GOAT Combo. Swapping Onion Rings and Tater Tots respectively. Solid Food all around. Definitely a surprise. Place needs to be more busy. You get what you pay for. That's Quality. Everything was delicious. Cannot wait to try everything else on the menu in the future. Highly Recommend!
OMG this has to be the best burger spot in Los Angeles words that come to mind QUALITY, QUANTITY and SERVICE I usually get the lunch box it come with 1/4 lbs burger on a brioche bun, I usually add pastrami, fries and 2 hand battered chicken strips for just under $15 I'm a big man this is two meals super tasty well worth it
We had Burgers, Mamba fries, pastrami sandwich and oreo milkshake. All was so good! Definitely our go too spot. We found this place on a hum bug, but glad we did.. The price matches the quantity of food you get.. Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch
Santa Monica burger without cheese. I bacon was super crispy, burger was freshly made. Next time, no sauce or pickles ...or bun. That's just me!
