Now days, customer service and hospitality are a rare thing. I was beginning to think it was dead. However, my husband and I went here for our wedding anniversary, and that?s where we met Jasmine. From the time she greeted our table, til the moment we left, she was literally the absolute greatest person I?ve come in contact with in the restaurant business. She asked if we?ve ever been, we told her we were local, she knew our reservation was for a special occasion as well. Our drinks were never empty, she had several other tables, food came out prompt and correct. Food is delicious! I highly recommend trying the Ahi Tuna Tostadas. Good food, service and ambience many vegan / vegetarian options We ate here twice, once for lunch before our Captain Memo Pirate cruise and once for dinner after the pirate cruise. Lunch was not as good as dinner, the food was a little bland for lunch, but the dinner was really good. They had marked a lot of veggie options on their menu. The service was great and the view cannot be beaten. They have views of the boats and the marina. It has a nice mood. For dinner we ate their Quesadillas, iron pan Maisbrot (both were exceptional! . Marina Cantina is an excellent choice for brunch in Tampa. Its location right across from the beach offers stunning rooftop views that my group thoroughly enjoyed. We started with the chicken nachos, which were absolutely amazing, then moved on to the garden quesadilla with shrimp and the short rib hash. The quesadilla was delicious, and the shrimp were incredibly fresh. The short rib hash was also tasty and came in a massive portion—my husband couldn’t finish it! The highlight of our visit was our server, Kurt. He was attentive, friendly, and very helpful. We will definitely be back!
I live nearby and often pass by this restaurant, so I decided to stop for dinner on a Friday night. While the views were impressive, the food and service left much to be desired. I can’t speak to their drink options since I only ordered a beer. The menu was quite limited and didn’t have any genuine Mexican dishes. I tried the BBQ chicken tacos, but they were very disappointing. The chips tasted like strange ramen noodles, and the salsa seemed to be straight out of a can. A must-visit while in Clearwater! You absolutely have to try the ahi tuna nachos. The combination of fantastic Mexican cuisine and fresh seafood made for an extraordinary experience. The view of the marina and the boats was amazing. There’s an extensive selection of great drinks and tequila options, so you really can’t go wrong here! Be sure to ask for Anna—she was fantastic and provided excellent recommendations and top-notch service.
Absolute must try! We sat at the outdoor tables and enjoyed a view over the docks while we dined. The drinks were wonderful and balanced. I had the grouper cake benedict and it was a perfect combination of flavors with the hollandaise pairing with the fish incredibly well. The trio of deserts was fantastic everything was delicious. Great service and timing for a Sat brunch. We will most definitely be going back!
As for the food, it was fantastic! I ordered the pan-seared tuna, and it was cooked to perfection. The rest of my family had only positive feedback about their meals, although the kids, age 7, weren’t fans of the rice since it had green olives mixed in. I would definitely recommend Marina Cantina. It’s in a great location by the marina and offers stunning views of the sunsets.
The salsa was excellent, and I believe that's one of the highlights of the restaurant. However, I'm not a fan of their chips. The food was decent, and the service was quick, although the wait time was quite long. The margaritas were enjoyable while we waited. This place was cool! GREAT service, cool ambience, would like to have enjoyed the outdoor area, but it was too cold, and the food was good!! The street tacos were delicious like the beans and rice! Delicious Margs to finish it and it is a great victory!
